Mid-West Fertilizer Scholarship Program

1. Applicant must reside in the Mid-West Fertilizer footprint. Eligible counties include: Allen County, KS; Anderson County, KS; Atchison County, KS; Bourbon County, KS; Cherokee County, KS; Crawford County, KS; Neosho County, KS; Montgomery County, KS; Jefferson County, KS; Labette County, KS; Miami County, KS; Wilson County, KS; Woodson County, KS; Bates County, MO; Vernon County, MO; Cass County, MO; Jasper County, MO; Ottawa County, OK; Benton County, AR
2. Be a high school senior graduating in spring 2021 or a current college student in the first, second or third year of school.
3. Enrolled at a post-secondary institution for the fall 2021.
4. Demonstrate leadership abilities, academic performance and a desire to further their education and career.
5. Applicants are only eligible to be awarded a Mid-West Fertilizer Scholarship at the college level one time. An applicant is eligable to apply at the college level if they were awarded a Mid-West Fertilizer Scholarship at the high school level.
6. Dependents of Mid-West Fertilizer employees are elibile to apply.

1. Submit one photo suitable for newspaper to be used upon selection as an awardee.
2. Complete online application and upload resume and essay.
3. Submit application on or before March 15, 2021.

All applicants will receive a letter once the scholarship committee has deteremined awardees. The scholarship will be awarded at high school student's school function. The scholarship will be mailed to the student in August 2021.
